Webhook Integration in SwipeOne enables seamless automation of data flow between SwipeOne and external platforms. By configuring a Webhook, you can send form submissions and other data in real-time to external systems, enhancing workflow efficiency. This guide will walk you through the setup process.
Select "Webhooks" under the "Apps" Section
Navigate to the "Apps" section in your SwipeOne dashboard and select "Webhooks" from the available options to begin the integration setup.
Click "Connect" to Start the Integration
Click the "Connect" button to initiate the connection process and begin setting up your Webhook integration.
Click "Connect using Webhook" and Select the Webhook Connection Option
Click on "Connect using Webhook" and choose the Webhook connection option to proceed with linking your account via Webhook.
Give your Webhook integration a descriptive name to easily identify it later. This could be something like "Swipe Pages Integration" or "Lead Capture Webhook" based on the use case.
Click "Next"
After naming your Webhook integration, click the "Next" button to proceed to the next step in the setup process.
Access and Copy the Webhook URL
Access the Webhook URL provided on the next page and click "Copy". This URL is essential for setting up the integration between SwipeOne and the external platform you are connecting with. Be sure to save it for the next configuration step.
Send a Test Submission from the Other Platform
Initiate a test submission from the external platform to trigger the test submission process in SwipeOne. This will allow you to verify that the data is being transferred correctly.
Paste the Webhook URL into the Other Platform
Go to the Webhook settings or Integrations section on the other platform.
Locate the field where you need to enter the Webhook URL.
Paste the Webhook URL you copied from SwipeOne into the appropriate field.
Map the Data Fields (If Applicable)
On the other platform, ensure that the form or data fields are properly mapped to the corresponding fields in SwipeOne.
Map the relevant data (like name, email, etc.) to ensure it gets passed correctly during the test submission.
Test the Webhook Integration
Submit a test form or data from the other platform to ensure that it triggers the Webhook and sends the correct data to SwipeOne.
Check if the test submission is received successfully in SwipeOne.
Monitor the Data Transfer
After completing the test submission, go back to SwipeOne to verify the incoming data.
Ensure that the data fields are correctly populated and no errors have occurred.
Activate the Integration
Once the test submission is successful and you’ve confirmed the data is correctly received in SwipeOne, activate the Webhook integration on both platforms.
Make sure the connection is live and set up for continuous data transfer.
Final Confirmation
Verify that both platforms are fully integrated, and the data sync happens in real-time without issues.
If everything is working correctly, you are now all set!
